ASIL-B functional safety, efficient motor control, and rich connectivity meet the stringent demands of automotive systems.

IM90xxA is a high-performance automotive-grade MCU based on the Cortex-M0+ core, optimized for the technical requirements of automotive actuator and sensor control to meet enhanced information security, rich connectivity, and functional-safety demands. The product integrates an HAU (Hardware Acceleration Unit) for three-phase brushless motors, supporting multiplication/division, trigonometric functions, and square-root operations, greatly reducing the execution time of motor FOC algorithms and improving motor-control efficiency. Power consumption is also highly optimized—its operating current and sleep current are only 12 mA and 10 µA respectively, just 50% of comparable products—to meet the stringent energy requirements of new-energy vehicles.
