The IM90xxK is a high-performance automotive-grade touch ambient-light driver IC based on the Cortex-M0+ core, optimized for the stringent demands of automotive interior lighting and touch-switch applications. For interior lighting, the IM90xxK integrates four high-precision constant-current drivers, supports an RGBW color-mixing algorithm, and features built-in LIN auto-addressing to simplify multi-node design. It also integrates multi-channel touch-input detection, greatly shortening development time for ambient-light and reading-light applications, while its compact integrated package significantly reduces product size. Meanwhile, the proprietary capacitive-sensing module enables wide use in in-vehicle panels, door handles, kick sensors, and other touch applications.
